Alright, so these aren’t cupcakes BUT they do happen to be an awesome treat while mother nature decides to cook us in her environmental oven. All you need are strawberries, powdered sugar, and a freezer!
Take the strawberries and rinse them off in the sink. Dip the strawberries in powdered sugar. I used a shot glass to dip the strawberries in the powdered sugar. Although it proved difficult to put sugar on the fat strawberries…
Then place them on cupcake liners or wax paper. Place them in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes so that they are a little frozen but not hard as a rock when you bite into it.
And there you have it, a little frozen treat without having to chase the ice cream man.
